Times of Change

Also inspired by the Poetry Prompt from Tweetspeack Poetry  https://plus.google.com/u/0/115153552995569860393/posts

Magic seemingly filling
the air, as she lounged
by the river.
Watching as the current
ran rapidly over the
stones, pulling twigs
along it's course.
Just as she thought
she could bask in the
warmth the sun offered,
forever, leaves changed
into colors of red, orange,
yellow, and brown.
Days appeared shorter
as time fell backwards,
sweeping daylight briskly
away in the early evening.
Her magical sun had
grown cold, and her
ever moving water
froze over, as winter
let it's presence be
known.
