    1. I'm hoping for a mild winter but I believe we used that up last year. lol. The weather has been fairly nice until two weeks ago. As long as the wind doesn't blow or rain doesn't mix with the chill in the air, then it isn't too bad, yet.

    1. Ah, I envy you. I stay cold anyway, so anything below 55 is cold to me. lol. My boyfriend has family in Florida and I've never been. I keep hinting to take a trip down there in the winter months. Unfortunately, he lives for this type of weather. One reason is because his occupation is roofing. So summer days roast him. The main reason is because he loves to hunt. Has hunted since he was old enough to. My living room is a lovely display of deer and one bear he shot with a bow when he was 17, He accidentally stumbled upon her and her cubs, so she didn't leave him much choice on shooting her. I love shooting but targets, not at the bambi's of the forest. lol.

    1. I checked out the extended weather forecast for the month of November. Here is a link that tells what the temperatures will be like during Thanksgiving, depending on where in Va you're headed to. I'm in Southwestern Va, an hour or two from Tennessee, North Carolina, and Kentucky. It is showing highs in the 50's for the week of Thanksgiving in this area. If the wind isn't blowing, that's not too bad. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! http://www.weather.com/weather/monthly/24141

    1. Thank you so much. I guess our winters aren't as bad as some. We've had some rough ones, but for the most part they aren't horrible. Which Mother Nature has been bipolar this year, so never know what to expect. I hope you stay warm this winter.

    1. lol. My post along with the comments does sound like the Weather Channel. lol. We had flurries for part of a day. Hope you have a nice winter without too much snow. I enjoy looking at the first snow fall, before any tracks have been made in it. I don't enjoy watching it keep coming and coming down and the power lines dropping with the weight. We live so far back in the mountains, we're the last ones to have our roads scraped, and a power outage in the surrounding towns too, means we are living like "Little House on the Prairie" for a week or so. Which can sometimes be fun for the girls. Thank you for stopping by!
