Unfortunate Coincidence - Dorothy Parker - NaPoWriMo

“Unfortunate Coincidence,” Dorothy Parker
By the time you swear you’re his,
Shivering and sighing,
And he vows his passion is
Infinite, undying –
Lady, make a note of this:
One of you is lying.

In honor of National Poetry Month and NaPoWriMo, which is on Day 5 and I've missed 3 days due to life, I found this short poem and wanted to share.
